Due
to unforeseen circumstances, The Big Easy Music Festival will be postponed
for 2013. However, the Poor House Bistro is producing another event. The Lil'
Easy Backyard VIP Party on Saturday September 7, 2013. This Party is going
to be a Lil' smaller than the Big Easy, but a lot more music, comfort, & fun,
with 9 Bands & 10 hours of continuous music from 10am-8pm, VIP seating at
the Backyard Stage, commemorative T-Shirt and New Orleans Brunch. A percentage
of the proceeds will benefit the Stroke Awareness Foundation. This
party is dedicated to the Mother of the Poor House Bistro, Sally Meduri. $60
per person. Seating is very limited. Reservations can be made by emailing

The
Poor House Bistro is San Jose's New Orleans Joint. A
"Joint" in the south is a place where people would come to enjoy food,
drink, and music. The Poor House brings the sights, sounds and tastes of New
Orleans to the San Jose Downtown area. Live music Friday and Saturday nights
from 6-10 pm. The menu offers the greatest hits of New Orleans Dining.
Dishes include Blackened Chicken Wings, Gumbo, Cajun Popcorn
Salad, Crawfish Pasta, BBQ Shrimp, Red Beans & Rice, Corn Muffins, Jambalaya
and Muffaletta Sandwiches. Hot Po
Boy's include: Catfish, Oyster, Shrimp, Pork, Beef, and Chicken. Desserts
include: Bread Pudding, Beignets, and Sweet Potato Fries. The
menu also offers a variety of food including: Charbroiled Angus Beef, Turkey,
and Boca (Vegetarian) Burgers with Fresh cut French Fries.
Also from the grill: Chicken and a variety of Sausage sandwiches. Kids
menu includes Corndogs, Chicken Tenders, and Grilled Cheese with Fries.
Salads are prepared fresh daily. The
Poor House has received 3 out of 4 stars in the Mercury News and been
voted Best Live Music in Silicon Valley by it's readers. The
Bistro is located one block south of the HP Pavilion across from
